PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE AECC DIGITAL DIRECTORY
1. Acceptance of the Privacy Policy
Access and use of the Digital Directory by the User (hereinafter the “User”) implies full acceptance of this Privacy Policy; the User is required to comply with it as well as the Service Conditions.
2. Content of the Privacy Policy
Pursuant to Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December regarding Personal Data Protection, as well as Royal Decree 1720/2007 of 21 December which approves the Regulation implementing it, the SPANISH ASSOCIATION OF SHOPPING CENTRES AND RETAIL PARKS (hereinafter the “AECC”) informs you that the data provided through any of the data collection forms on the web site www.aedecc.com or obtained as a Registered User or through the acquisition of the various publications which the AECC sells through the Digital Directory, will be included in an automated personal data file which is controlled by AECC; users can, at any time, exercise their rights to access, rectify, cancel or oppose the use of their personal data by sending an email to asociación@aedecc.com or a letter sent to:

These letters must contain the name and surname of the User - attaching a photocopy of their ID card -, their email address as well as, where appropriate, the name of the company on behalf of which they are completing the contact form.
When using the data included in the file, the AECC agrees to respect confidentiality and to use it in accordance with the purpose of the file, i.e. to manage contact details and clients, as well as to comply with its obligation to keep and adopt all measures to avoid the alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access, in accordance with the Security Measures Regulation for computer files which contain personal data, approved by Royal Decree 994/1999 of 11 June.
In light of the above, generally speaking the data provided or obtained from the abovementioned Digital Directory will be used for compliance, maintenance, development, control and improvement of the relations which you hold with AECC.
The requested data must be provided through the Digital Directory in order for the User to receive optimal services. If not all the data is provided, the AECC cannot guarantee that the requested information and services can be provided, provided correctly or adjusted to the User’s requirements.
The Digital Directory provides the User with the possibility to receive newsletters from the AECC. The User must expressly consent to receiving them so that the AECC can send these newsletters electronically, allowing them to receive information relating to the AECC and the activities that it develops at any time.
The AECC informs you that advertising sent to the User will include the word “advertising” at the start of the message, also specifying the natural or legal person who is providing it.
Throughout the relation held with the AECC, the User can request to be included or excluded from this service easily and for free by ticking or unticking the different advertising options in the settings area; and they can directly exclude themselves through the link that the AECC provides in each email to cancel registration.
In addition, please be aware that the AECC will obtain your consent to process your data in order to send information regarding AECC initiatives and publications, through any media, including electronic, i.e. SMS, email, etc. through different data collection forms included in the Digital Directory. You can therefore oppose that your data is processed for this purpose by ticking the box provided for this purpose in the corresponding data collection form, as well as at any other time by sending an email to the following address asociación@aedecc.comor by using specific measures which are recognised in communications.
Pursuant to Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December regarding Personal Data Protection, as well as Royal Decree 1720/2007 of 21 December, which approves the Regulation that implements it, it is forbidden for children under 14 years old to access or use the Digital Directory without the express consent of their parents, without holding the AECC liable for the accuracy or truthfulness of the data provided by the User.
3. Cookies
Through this Privacy Policy the User is made aware that the Digital Directory uses cookies to personalise the content offered to the User’s browsing history and preferences.
You are informed that cookies are automatic files which collect information relating to user preferences during their visit to a specific web page in order to recognise them as a regular user and to personalise their experience and use of the Digital Directory. Cookies are stored on the computer’s hard drive until you delete them.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, after having been clearly and fully informed of this Privacy Policy, the User consents to the storage and recovery of data from the device by AECC by accepting this document.
Finally, please be aware that you can reject and delete the cookies installed on your computer by configuring your browser. The procedures to block and delete cookies can differ depending on the browser used. If you reject the use of cookies, you can continue to use the Digital Directory but some of our services can be limited.
